Rangi Ruru: Quad Tournament

Rangi Ruru sent a young side to the Annual Summer Quad Tournament, hosted in Timaru by Craighead Diocesan School. I've been lucky enough to have Harriet Graham assisting me with this group and her input and expertise is invaluable.

The focus for the Rangi Ruru team for the next 12 months is skill development and alongside this, developing their game understanding. As we went through the tournament, we witnessed significant progress not only in individual performance but also in our collective achievements. Whilst we lost all 4 games at Quad Tournament we made huge progress in our key focus areas, especially in field settings which helped our bowlers immensely.  

The group has worked hard over the last 2 months and we have seen noticeable improvements. This is an exciting group, making massive improvements week to week, showcasing a remarkable commitment to growth and development. Each of the players brings a unique set of skills and perspectives, and we are developing a culture centred around positive and inclusive gameplay.
